- Metered street parking is available in downtown Charleston or you can park in the Palmetto Parking garage across the street. Get 90 minutes for $1 with a Charleston RIDE stamp on your parking ticket. After 90 minutes the rates return to normal fees which is $1 for each 20 minutes. Be sure to bring in your ticket so we can validate it.
- Please note: For 12 noon and 12:30 classes there is NO DISCOUNT parking in garage. That is their peak time and offer no discounts. The midday “no discount” period is 7 days a week between 9:50am and 3:50pm.
- Palmetto Parking Garage is open 24 hours but is only staffed starting at 9am M-F and 10am Sat/Sun. If you are an early morning customer and you exit the garage before these times, you will need a token. Get your token at the Charleston RIDE™ front desk. Customers exiting before these times without a token pay a $7 flat fee at the self-pay kiosk.
- Metered street parking is free on Sundays and government holidays.
