It started almost four years ago, when Brooks got his first road bike as a gift so he could get around the Holy City during college. What ended up being a useful gift also awakened something in Brooks. “The bike was made to take on long rides and I decided to give it a shot and rode it for 20 miles, then 50 on my next ride. October 2011: Charlie Magazine Article – Easy as Riding a Bike: Most of us learn how to ride a bike around the age of 5 or 6, eventually ditching the training wheels and letting go of the handlebars. As we grow up, some of us continue riding — to class, or the coffee shop, or the grocery store.
