RIDE™ smart

  • What to bring:
    • Your heart rate monitor is important. Find out why.
    • A water bottle. Water’s mandatory folks. Hydration is key to having a safe ride.
    • A towel. Or three. You’ll be glad you did.
  • What to wear:

If you want to bring all the gear, go for it! We’re all about cycling pants, and of course cycling shoes will make your ride more efficient. But, if you’re new all you need are comfortable workout clothes and a pair of sneakers to get started. If you want to get on George’s good side, wear some tie dye.

  • The pedals:

Our toe cages are also SPD compatible. Sorry, no changing out of pedals is permitted.

  • New riders:

Please arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes ahead of time. There’s some stuff we need to tell you, including how to get you set up safely on the Spinner®Blade bike. We want to make sure you have a safe, fun, efficient ride. (If you’re new to RIDE™ don’t worry, we know you don’t have a heart rate monitor yet, but once you’re hooked on Spinning® classes it will be the first thing you get, then the shoes, then the shorts, then the tattoo…) Here’s more information on getting started.
